Birmingham Business Park awarded International GOLD Green Apple Environment Award

Birmingham Business Park has been awarded an International GOLD Green Apple Environment Award in the campaign to find the greenest companies and organisations.

This is the Business Park’s second Gold Green Apple Award, the 2018 award was in recognition of their Community Cycling Club and the 2019 award recognised their bi-annual Sustainability Weeks, which encourage occupiers to enjoy the biodiversity of the Park – from pond dipping, free bike maintenance, guided bike rides, bug hotel making and biodiversity walks.

The Business Park competed against more than 500 nominations in the International Green Apple Awards 2019 and was presented with a trophy and certificate at a glittering ceremony at the House of Commons, London, on November 25th.

As a result of the International Green Apple Award success, Birmingham Business Park has been invited to achieve Green World Ambassador status and have its winning paper published in The Green Book; the leading international work of reference on environmental best practice.
